Your BallotIndependent, non-partisan election guides

About

An independent, non-partisan guide to who's on your ballot.

What this is

Your Ballot helps voters find their district, see every candidate in official ballot order, read sitting members' records, and see who is funding parties and candidates. The first guide covers the Victorian state election on Saturday 28 November 2026. Other state and federal elections may be added later.

Who runs it

Your Ballot is run by Mark Gandolfo as an independent project. It isn't affiliated with any electoral commission, the Parliament of Victoria, or any party or candidate.

How it stays neutral

  • Candidates come only from the electoral commission's official list and appear in ballot order. There are no rankings, endorsements or how-to-vote recommendations.
  • Candidate bios come from each candidate's own materials and link to their source.
  • Members' policy snapshots use only dated, linked evidence: recorded votes in Hansard, the member's own words, and portfolios they've held. A topic with nothing on the record says so instead of guessing.
  • Donations are shown as the electoral commission publishes them, without donor addresses.
  • Where anything here differs from the electoral commission, the electoral commission is right.

Sources

The Victorian guide uses data from the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC), the Parliament of Victoria and the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The full list is at the bottom of the guide.
